A new action-packed trailer for Prime Video’s upcoming spy series Citadel features Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden. It’s hard not to love their chemistry.

Citadel, an upcoming spy series starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra, released a new trailer on Thursday. With more action sequences and drama, the new Citadel trailer looks impressive. However, what really grabs attention is how Richard’s Mason and Priyanka’s Nadia, summoned to the agency by Stanley Tucci’s Bernard Orlick, work together despite their attraction to each other.

Citadel’s second action-packed trailer explores the train crash that seems to have brought an end to the elite spy agency. After the crash, the two mind-wiped secret agents have no recollection of their spy lives. Mason might not remember much about his previous job as a spy, but he doesn’t forget Nadia. Additionally, she appears to be on the same page and tells him she remembers everything. As seen in the first trailer for Citadel, Mason confronts Nadia and insists she is a spy before attacking them. In the first trailer for Citadel, Nadia was confronted by Mason and told that she is a spy before they were attacked.

On an Instagram fan page, a person commented, “Priyanka and Richard are on fire.”. I can’t wait to watch this show.” Someone else commented, “Chemistry (fire emoji).” Others said, “Their chemistry is just (heart eyes emoji).”

On April 28, Citadel will be available on Prime Video. Citadel fell eight years ago. ‘Manticore, a powerful syndicate manipulating the world from the shadows, destroys the independent global spy agency that protects all people,’ reads the official synopsis of the show.

As Citadel fell, elite agents Mason Kane (Richard Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra) had their memories erased. They have remained hidden ever since, building new lives under new identities, unaware of their pasts. Until one night, when Mason is tracked down by Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci), who desperately needs Mason’s help to prevent Manticore from establishing a new world order. The two spies embark on a mission that takes them around the world in an effort to stop Manticore, while dealing with a relationship built on secrets, lies, and a dangerous-yet-undying love.”

As the show deals with spies from around the world working together for the ultimate mission, Citadel is meant to be reminiscent of an ‘Avengers-style spy show’. Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan are working on Citadel’s Indian installment. DK and Raj are helming the Prime Video series. Shooting is currently taking place.

The series is expected to be released in 2021. The show is set to be an action-packed thriller with an ensemble cast. It is sure to be a hit with viewers who are fans of spy and espionage genre. It will feature a diverse cast, including actors from different backgrounds and cultures. The show will also touch on themes of identity and belonging in a world of espionage and danger. The series is sure to be full of suspense and intrigue.
